 While the hanging weight is different for each animal, over the last number of years the hanging weight of a quarter beef has averaged 125 pounds. 

-Recommended for families with 1-2 adults and a kid or two

-Will take up half of a small chest freezer or 25% of small upright freezer

-Each cut is individually wrapped, except steaks which generally come 2 per pack

-There is a $200 deposit required to reserve your 1/4 beef

 The average hanging weight of a half beef is 250 pounds but again, this varies animal to animal and the hanging weight can vary as much as 50 pounds either way.

-Will take up to 50% of a large upright freezer

Many customers request a whole beef every year, the whole beef is your very best value.  Its our lowest price per pound package. While the weight varies by animal, the average hanging weight are around 600-700 pounds but again, this varies animal to animal and the hanging weight can vary as much as 120 pounds either way.

-Recommended for large families with 2 adults and hungry growing kids

-Will take up almost all of a large upright freezer (20 cu.ft.)

-Whole beef orders require an $500 deposit to secure your order.
